Clear limits on how your quote information is used.

1. Scope of this notice

This Privacy Notice describes the online information practices of YourSimpleQuote and The Nordsell Agency, Inc. It applies when you visit the site, begin or complete an estimate, save progress, request agency review, schedule a conversation, or otherwise interact with YourSimpleQuote.

This online notice supplements, and does not replace, any privacy notice that Allstate or another regulated entity provides in connection with a final insurance quote, application, policy, or other insurance transaction.

2. Information we collect

Information you enter

Depending on the estimate selected, the site may collect:

• ZIP code, street address, city, state, and garaging or property location.
• Date of birth, gender, marital status, spouse and household-member information, and an approximate credit category.
• Current or prior insurance information, coverage history, and claims or accident information.
• Home characteristics, including year built, square footage, construction, exterior, roof, foundation, condition, and replacement-cost-quality selections.
• Vehicle information, including VIN when entered, year, make, model, trim, mileage, ownership information, and selected coverages.
• Coverage limits, deductibles, discounts, payment selections, and optional coverages.
• Name, email address, phone number, message, and appointment selection only when you choose to request agency review or contact.

YourSimpleQuote does not ask you to enter a Social Security number, driver-license number, bank-account number, or payment-card number in the estimate workflow. Please do not place that information in a free-text message.

Information from service providers and other sources

To make the estimate more useful, we may obtain or validate address, property, vehicle, VIN, and related information from public records, commercial data providers, and carrier or agency systems. Those records may be incomplete or inaccurate, and the site asks you to review information displayed about the home or vehicle.

Technical, security, and attribution information

When you use the site, we and our service providers may receive IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, screen size, referring page, advertising click identifiers, timestamps, pages or quote steps viewed, interaction and error events, approximate location derived from network information, and security signals. The site also creates session and resume identifiers using browser storage.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Create, calculate, refine, display, save, restore, and document your insurance estimate.
• Identify and validate a property, address, vehicle, VIN, or relevant rating characteristic.
• Estimate coverages, deductibles, discounts, eligibility factors, and premium.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, test, and improve the website and rating experience.
• Prevent automated abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, excessive requests, and service disruption.
• Measure advertising and website performance and understand where users encounter difficulty.
• Respond when you expressly ask the agency to review the estimate, contact you, schedule a conversation, or provide a final carrier quote.
• Comply with insurance, privacy, recordkeeping, security, legal, and regulatory obligations.

4. No unsolicited agency sales contact

Starting, saving, or completing an estimate does not authorize The Nordsell Agency to initiate a sales call, marketing text, or marketing email. We may communicate with you when:

• You ask an agent to review or finalize the estimate.
• You call the agency, schedule a conversation, or otherwise request a response.
• You request a service-related communication, such as delivery of a result, confirmation, or security message, when that feature is available.
• Communication is reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate suspected misuse, or comply with law.

Agreement to the Terms of Use or acknowledgment of this Privacy Notice is not consent to receive sales calls, texts, or emails.

5. When information may be disclosed

We do not sell quote information or provide it to competing agencies or lead buyers for their independent marketing. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers

Hosting, database, security, fraud-prevention, property-data, vehicle-data, document or email delivery, analytics, advertising-measurement, and technical-support providers may process information for defined functions supporting YourSimpleQuote.

Allstate and insurance processing

If you request agency review, a final carrier quote, an application, or coverage, information may be provided to Allstate companies, affiliates, authorized vendors, consumer-reporting sources, or other parties involved in the requested insurance transaction.

Legal and safety purposes

Information may be disclosed as permitted or required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, insurance examination, fraud investigation, security response, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

Business succession

If the agency or the YourSimpleQuote service is reorganized, transferred, or acquired, relevant records may be transferred to a successor subject to applicable law and the commitments described in the notice then in effect.

6. Cookies, browser storage, analytics, and advertising measurement

YourSimpleQuote uses cookies, local storage, server logs, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for site operation, quote-session continuity, resume links, fraud prevention, performance measurement, and advertising attribution. Current examples include Cloudflare Turnstile, first-party event tracking, and Google Ads conversion measurement.

The advertising tag is not designed to receive the substantive answers you enter into the quote forms. Google and other providers may nonetheless receive device, browser, page, cookie, and conversion information under their own privacy terms.

7. Retention

A private resume link is designed to reopen a saved estimate for up to 14 days. The underlying quote record, contact request, analytics record, security log, and other related information may be retained for different periods when reasonably necessary to provide the service, document the requested insurance transaction, maintain agency records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with law, or enforce the Terms of Use.

We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes, subject to backup cycles and legal or regulatory retention requirements.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Access is limited to persons and service providers who need information for an authorized business function. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Keep any private resume link confidential. A person who obtains the link may be able to reopen the saved estimate until the link expires or is disabled.

9. Your choices and requests

You may ask us to explain the information associated with your quote record, correct information you believe is inaccurate, or delete information that is not subject to an applicable insurance, legal, security, or recordkeeping requirement. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.

Because we do not sell quote information or provide it to competing agents or lead buyers for their independent marketing, there is no lead-sale opt-out form. You may restrict cookies or local storage through your browser, but doing so may prevent quote, resume, or security features from working correctly.

10. Household members and children

YourSimpleQuote is intended for adults. An adult may provide information about a spouse, household member, or younger driver when relevant to a household insurance estimate and when the adult is authorized to do so. We do not knowingly invite children to submit quote information directly.

11. Texas insurance privacy

Information collected in connection with seeking an insurance product or service may be subject to federal and Texas insurance privacy requirements. Texas rules address privacy notices, categories of information collected and disclosed, service providers, permitted insurance-processing disclosures, and safeguards for nonpublic personal financial information.

This website notice is intended to describe YourSimpleQuote's online practices. It is not a substitute for any separate initial, annual, revised, carrier, or transaction-specific privacy notice required by applicable insurance law.

12. Changes to this notice

We may revise this notice when the website, data practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. The page will show the current effective date. If a change materially alters how previously collected information is used or disclosed, we will provide any notice or choice required by law.
